HG Infotech Pte. Ltd. ("HG Infotech", "we", "us") is an enterprise technology consulting and services company headquartered at 7 Temasek Boulevard, #12-07, Suntec Tower One, Singapore 038987. We provide ERP and SAP services, Salesforce solutions, Microsoft services, application development, AI and automation, managed services and travel technology to organisations in Singapore and across the region. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data collected through our website at hginfotech.sg and in the course of our business. We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore and, where applicable, other data protection laws that apply to our clients and partners.
Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data that you choose to give us and limited technical data generated when you use our website. Information you provide includes your name, business email address, phone number, company name, job title and the content of your message when you contact us, request a consultation or subscribe to our newsletter. If you apply for a role through our careers pages, we also collect your CV, work history, qualifications and any other information you include in your application. Technical data includes your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website and general usage patterns collected through cookies and similar technologies. Our website assistant (chatbot) records the questions you type so that it can respond to you.
How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data to respond to your enquiries and consultation requests; to prepare proposals and deliver consulting, implementation and support services; to evaluate job applications and communicate with candidates; to send newsletters and service updates where you have asked to receive them; to operate, secure and improve our website; to understand how visitors use our content so we can make it more useful; and to meet our legal, regulatory, accounting and audit obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal Basis and Consent
We process personal data with your consent, where it is necessary to perform a contract or take steps at your request before entering into one, where we have a legitimate business interest that is not overridden by your rights, or where the law requires it. When you submit a form on our website, you consent to us collecting and using the information provided for the purpose stated on that form. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, although this may limit our ability to provide certain services to you.
Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage to remember your cookie preferences and keep the site working. With your consent, we also use analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, to measure traffic and understand which pages are most useful. Where we work with technology partners such as SAP, Salesforce or Microsoft on your project, we share only the information needed to deliver the engagement, under the terms of our agreement with you. We require all service providers to protect personal data and to use it solely for the purposes we specify.
International Transfers
Some of our service providers and technology partners operate outside Singapore, which means your personal data may be transferred to and stored in other countries. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure the data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA, including contractual commitments from the receiving party. By providing personal data to us, you acknowledge that it may be transferred in this way.
Data Security
HG Infotech operates an information security management system aligned with ISO 27001:2022 and a quality management system aligned with ISO 9001:2015. We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls based on least privilege, secure hosting, staff confidentiality obligations and regular review of our security practices. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authorities where required by law if a data breach affects you.
Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Enquiry and consultation records are retained while we are in discussion with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client engagement records are kept for the duration of the contract and for the period required by our legal, tax and audit obligations. Job applications are retained for up to twelve months after the recruitment process closes unless you ask us to delete them sooner or agree to be considered for future roles. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it securely.
Your Rights
Under the PDPA you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to ask how it has been used or disclosed within the past year; to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; and to withdraw consent to our continued collection, use or disclosure of your data. Where other laws apply, you may also have rights to erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each message. To exercise any right, contact our Data Protection Officer using the details below. We will respond within the time required by law and may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Third-Party Websites
Our website contains links to external sites and services, including our LinkedIn page and technology partner platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
